Graphic Recording for a Global Company’s Senior Leader Conference
Esther graphic recording at a leadership conference
At a recent conference, I provided graphic recording during a session focused on leadership within a global company. Leaders from all over the world gathered in London to align on the company’s leadership principles. For some, it was the first time they had met in-person, let alone in the same time zone! There was a lot of ground to cover.
The company faced a critical challenge: how to bring together diverse perspectives from senior leaders across the globe and align them under one cohesive leadership framework. The goal was to establish a unified leadership vision that everyone could reflect on, grasp and implement in their roles.
The event featured a keynote from Professor Jonathan Passmore, a renowned psychologist, executive coach, and author. Jonathan’s insights on leadership in the changing landscape and nature of work were invaluable as the team explored how they want to lead better.
Professor Jonathan Passmore
During Jonathan Passmore’s keynote, I provided graphic recording, translating the key themes and insights from the discussion into real-time visuals. In addition to hearing Jonathan’s fantastic presentation about leadership concepts and approaches, they could see how the ideas connected, making it easier to absorb and internalise what was being shared.
The graphic recording turned concepts into tangible visuals and this helped the leadership principles become easier to reference and apply in real-world situations.

It’s always lovely to receive such positive feedback from the client, thanks so much Jennifer!
“Esther is really easy to work with positive, flexible, curious, proactive and her product is fab! We loved how she captured our day; her sketches were a real talking point with the group and served as a fabulous reminder of what we did together and where we got to.”
Overall incorporating graphic recording into a conference like this helped to facilitate engagement. The team could see their thoughts and values reflected visually. The illustrations amplified the message, helping the leaders connect in a deep and meaningful way.
