Capturing Conversations at the Museum Partners Network Meeting
I’m delighted to be live illustrating again for the Museum Partners Network Meeting next month as part of the Curating Visibility project. I’ll be capturing discussions and updates around the Curating Visibility fellowship and curatorial practice so far.
This project, led by Accentuate, Screen South and funded by Arts Council England, is an exciting initiative that explores curating through the lens of disability, representation and inclusivity in the museum sector. Curating Visibility builds on the success of Curating for Change with six new curatorial Fellowships for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people, hosted by 6 partner museums across England.
Fellows are hosted by Imperial War Museums Duxford, Food Museum, Dover Museum, Museum of London, Charleston and Barnsley Museums over 15 months. Bringing together museum professionals, fellows and creatives, the network meetings sparks vital conversations about the evolving landscape of curatorial practice.
Why Live Illustration?
Live illustration is a dynamic way to document events in real-time, making discussions more engaging and accessible. By translating conversations into visuals as they happen, I help teams see their ideas take shape - creating a lasting record of key themes, insights and next steps. These illustrated minutes become a useful, shareable resource, capturing not just what was said, but the energy and essence of the event.
At the last Curating Visibility session, I had the privilege of illustrating the discussions as they unfolded, producing a real-time artwork that brought the conversation to life. This visual record helped attendees reflect on key takeaways and continue the dialogue long after the event ended.
Check out the final artwork below and watch the time lapse of it coming to life!

Looking Ahead
I’m excited to return to the next meeting to continue capturing the evolution of Curating Visibility and the important discussions shaping curatorial practice today. Each session builds on the last, and I love being part of a process that values collaboration, storytelling and creative impact.
